Membership Eligibility

Joining Choice One Community Credit Union is easy as can be. Membership is open to persons who live, work, worship, attend school or have a business entity in Luzerne, Lackawanna or Wyoming Counties. Once you’re a member, your immediate family can join as well, regardless if they meet the above criteria or not.

Maintain a Share Savings balance and you are eligible to remain a Choice One member for life. Whether you move down the block or across the globe. With full access to your accounts via BARB our automated phone system, Virtual Branch online banking or our Mobile Money App for your mobile phone and tablet, you can conduct your business virtually anywhere, anytime. You can also access your accounts at ATMs and hundreds of other credit union locations as part of our CU Service Centers network.

How to Join

To become a member, simply open one of our Share Savings Accounts, with a minimum deposit of $10 ($5 for the one-time Membership Fee and $5 as your minimum balance). You will need a valid ID to open the account (For a complete list, please see our Customer Identification Policy here). It’s as easy as that! Once you join, you are immediately eligible for all the products and services we offer. Our products have been designed to fit the needs of our members and simplify their lives.
