Work at Choice One
We are a community credit union with five branches and more than 13,000 members, all of whom live, work, worship, study, or own a business in Luzerne, Lackawanna, or Wyoming County. When you work here, the people at your counter are your neighbors.

Member Service Representative
$15.45 an hour | Kingston branch, 754 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston, PA 18704
You are the person at the counter. In one shift, you might open a savings account, help a member enroll in Zelle, process a loan payment, and track down why a debit card was declined. Our standard is answering the phone by the third ring, and you balance your own cash drawer at the end of every day.
One of our member service reps in a public review of working here called it a nice place to work where no two days run the same. The same review said the hardest part is calming members down when they are upset. That is the truth. The members are owners of this credit union, so when something goes wrong with their money, you are the one who makes it right.
What you get
Along with your paycheck, eligible employees receive a benefits package that includes health coverage, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid vacation. Ask us about the details when you drop off your application.
How to apply
- Download the application and answer every question. An incomplete application cannot move forward, so take your time and finish it.
- Sign it, date it, and bring it to the branch in person. The address is on this page.
- Meet us. We want to put a face with the application the day you drop it off.
Why in person? Because this job is in person. We think a hiring process should resemble the work, and this work happens across a counter, not through a screen. If the trip to the branch is not worth your time. the job will not be either, and it is better for both of us to know that now.
Questions applicants ask
1. Do I have to apply in person?
Yes, applications are accepted in person at the branch. Fill out the application at home, sign it, and bring it to the branch. The job is face to face, so the hiring process is too, and it means we can meet you the day you drop it off.
2. What does a Member Service Representative at Choice One do?
A Member Service Representative at Choice One opens and closes accounts, processes deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, answers member questions by phone and in person, and resolves account problems. Most of the day is spent working directly with members at the counter.
3. Do I need banking experience?
The job calls for one to three years of similar or related experience, plus a high school diploma or GED. If your experience is in customer service, retail, or another job where you helped people all day, put it on the application.
4. How long does my application stay active?
An application stays active for 60 days. If you have not heard from us after 60 days and still want to be considered, fill out a new application.
5. Who do I contact if I need an accommodation to apply?
Applicants who need an accommodation to the application or interview process should email choiceonefcu@choiceone.org.
